About The Position

This role is for a Forklift Driver in Mineral Wells, WV, and the company is hiring immediately. The available shift is 6 AM - 6 PM on a 2x2x3 schedule. The position involves operating a forklift, ensuring safety, moving product, completing paperwork, and maintaining a clean work environment. Support for Lean initiatives and grinding scrap rolls are also part of the responsibilities.

Requirements

  • Must have high school diploma or equivalent.
  • 1+ years of powered industrial truck experience is required.

Nice To Haves

  • SAP experience is helpful.

Responsibilities

  • Successfully completes PIT certification course and maintains active certification.
  • Follows all safety policies and procedures for all PIT operations.
  • Identifies and reports equipment problems and unsafe conditions.
  • Ability to operate a gas or electric lift truck and clamp lift in all areas of the building.
  • Ability to safely move product through the facility.
  • Completes necessary paperwork for reporting safety, quality, production, damages and loading/unloading verification.
  • Ability to use roll flipper and bander to prepare rolls for shipment.
  • Delivers materials to work areas as directed, stock thermoforming lines with current order sheet, stacks overstock rolls on racks and moves into storage area.
  • Weigh and print tickets for roll stock, purge, regrind and waste.
  • Housekeeping to ensure that all areas worked are clean and that all items are stored in their proper places. This includes the back of the infeed and weight station area.
  • Inspect cores for damage and dispose of damaged cores and report to Lead/Supervisor quantity.
  • Support Lean initiatives
  • Grind clear and black scrap rolls and keep grinder areas clean.
  • Other duties as assigned.
