About The Position

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Assisted Living / Memory Care is responsible for the accurate and timely administration of medications, treatments, documentation, and emergency response support within Assisted Living and Memory Care neighborhoods. The role also supports direct resident care and helps maintain residents’ dignity, comfort, and safety.

Requirements

Valid Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the State of Florida.
Minimum of 6 months of nursing experience.
Ability to create a warm, friendly, and compassionate first impression.
Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check.

Nice To Haves

Geriatric experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Administer medications accurately and safely.
Administer treatments, including dressings, catheterization, suctioning, and oxygen therapy.
Assist with direct resident care as needed.
Maintain accurate documentation of medications administered and care rendered.
Assist with resident admission and discharge procedures.
Respond to resident emergency call systems as indicated.
Make rounds with physicians and transcribe orders.
Keep physicians and families informed of changes in resident condition.
Maintain the self-respect, dignity, comfort, and safety of each resident.
Assure continuity of care and services.
Attend assigned in-service training and education sessions.
Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by a supervisor.
