About The Position

As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) at Rosewalk Lutherwoods Assisted Living, you will develop meaningful relationships by learning about residents’ and staff members’ life stories. You will use your nursing skills to promote residents’ physical and psychosocial well-being and provide senior care in accordance with the organization’s C.A.R.E. values: Compassion, Accountability, Relationships, and Excellence. The position is listed for Monday through Friday, with day and night shifts available.

Requirements

• Hold a current, valid Licensed Practical Nurse license in Indiana.
• Have proficient medication management skills.
• Be able to conduct thorough assessments and accurately document changes in resident condition.
• Have a strong passion for geriatric nursing and a commitment to senior care excellence.
• Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrate the C.A.R.E. values: Compassion, Accountability, Relationships, and Excellence.

Responsibilities

• Create a comforting and engaging atmosphere for residents.
• Promote teamwork within the care team to meet residents’ needs.
• Collaborate with nursing and other facility teams to coordinate comprehensive care.
• Work with the team toward the shared goal of excellent resident care.
• Support a respectful and positive work environment.
• Manage medications.
• Conduct thorough resident assessments and accurately document changes in residents’ conditions.
• Demonstrate Compassion, Accountability, Relationships, and Excellence in interactions with residents, family members, customers, and staff.
