About The Position
The LPN role requires practical nursing education and current or obtainable Missouri licensure, including IV certification. Graduate practical nurses must obtain licensure within three months of graduation. The nurse must maintain Basic Life Support validation and demonstrate successful use of nursing knowledge and skills, as well as proficiency in their specialty area.
Requirements
- Graduate of an approved school of practical nursing.
- Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse (IV Certified) in Missouri, or ability to obtain the required licensure. Graduate practical nurses must obtain licensure within three months of graduation.
- Maintain Basic Life Support validation.
- Successfully implement nursing knowledge and skills.
- Demonstrate skill in the area of specialty.
