About The Position
Dallas Retirement Village is seeking a skilled, dependable Licensed Practical Nurse to provide hands-on resident care and shift leadership in its Health Center in Dallas, Oregon. The Charge Nurse oversees daily nursing operations, supports nursing assistants, collaborates with the interdisciplinary team, and helps maintain a safe, supportive environment while ensuring residents receive high-quality, compassionate, resident-centered care. The role is suited to a nurse who is comfortable with clinical responsibilities and decision-making, enjoys leading a team while remaining involved in direct care, and communicates effectively under pressure. The position is full-time and works the day shift from 5:45 AM to 2:15 PM.
Requirements
- Active, unencumbered LPN license in the State of Oregon.
- Strong clinical knowledge of nursing care practices.
- Supervisory experience or the ability to lead a team effectively.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to plan, prioritize, and organize workflow.
- Commitment to high-quality, resident-centered care.
- Customer service mindset and team-oriented approach.
- Compassionate, dependable, and resident-focused approach.
Nice To Haves
- Current BLS CPR certification is preferred.
