About The Position
Lake Port Square is seeking a hospitality-focused LPN to join its Assisted Living team. The position provides direct nursing care to residents and delegates and supervises care provided by C.N.A.'s. The LPN supports residents' daily living and social activities, promotes independence, identifies medical and behavioral changes, and develops, monitors, and reassesses care plans. The role provides nursing care according to physician orders, recognized nursing practice, established standards, and administrative policies, and coordinates care with other disciplines. Requirements
- Current LPN license valid in the State of Florida.
- Current CPR certification.
- Willingness to be available for any or all emergencies regarding the community.
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADL) and family and social activities, and promote an independent lifestyle.
- Identify changes in residents' medical and behavioral conditions; develop and monitor care plans and reassess residents.
- Provide daily reports to the Director of Clinical Services concerning community conditions, personnel performance, resident conditions, and nursing supply needs.
- Provide nursing care according to physician orders, recognized nursing practice, established standards, and administrative policies.
- Ensure residents receive preventative, therapeutic, and rehabilitative services.
- Coordinate nursing care with care rendered by other disciplines.
- Delegate and supervise care provided by C.N.A.'s.
