About The Position

Chestnut Ridge is seeking an occasional Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to support its Wellness department and serve residents in Senior Living and Memory Care. This active nursing role includes serving as a floor supervisor, administering medications, assessing wounds and providing wound care, assessing residents’ needs, and assisting with training new team members. The LPN Supervisor helps ensure residents receive quality care by communicating with doctors and other medical providers, helping families understand their loved ones’ care, supporting Resident Wellness Associates with daily care, and overseeing shift operations.

The position is part-time on the second shift, from 3 p.m. to 11 p.m., on Fridays and every other weekend. The pay rate is $29–$34 per hour.

Requirements

• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license required.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a floor supervisor and oversee general shift operations.
• Administer medications and pass medication to residents.
• Assess wounds and provide wound care.
• Assess residents’ needs.
• Communicate with doctors and other medical providers.
• Help families understand their loved ones’ care.
• Assist Resident Wellness Associates with daily care.
• Assist with training new team members.
