About The Position
Wilshire Rehab & Healthcare Center is a skilled nursing community focused on clinical excellence and compassionate care for residents. LPN/RN candidates should want to join a quality healthcare team that supports the facility’s mission and vision in serving residents, family members, coworkers, and the general public. New graduates are welcome. This is a 12-hour shift position, with weekend night and other shifts available.
Requirements
- Current LPN or RN license in the state of Missouri.
Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care to patients as assigned.
- Administer and record medications and treatments as assigned.
- Prepare for and assist physicians and others with diagnostic procedures and treatments.
- Reinforce and provide healthcare instructions to patients and their families.
- Participate with other team members in planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care and other patient activities.
- Assist with patient admission, transfer, and discharge.
- Observe and report patients’ vital signs, symptoms, and general condition to appropriate individuals.
- Record observations of patients’ responses to nursing care in patient charts.
- Maintain environmental conditions that support patient comfort and safety.
- Assist with unit management and/or assume charge of a unit as assigned.
