About The Position
Phoenix Home Care & Hospice is hiring an LPN or RN to provide pediatric nursing care in patients’ homes, including weekend shifts. Nurses care for one patient at a time, with consistent schedules and long-term cases that support lasting relationships with patients and families. The role offers flexible scheduling, paid training, ongoing clinical support, and opportunities to work close to home. Weekend day shifts receive a $3-per-hour premium, and weekend overnight shifts receive a $4-per-hour premium. Competitive pay is based on experience.
Requirements
- Active Missouri RN or LPN license, or a Compact license.
- Strong assessment and communication skills.
- Compassionate, dependable, and self-motivated.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, one-on-one nursing care in patients’ homes.
- Administer and manage medications.
- Monitor and document patient conditions.
- Perform treatments as ordered by the physician.
- Educate, encourage, and support family members.
- Work alongside the Phoenix clinical team to provide exceptional care.
