About The Position
Phoenix Home Care & Hospice is hiring licensed practical nurses and registered nurses to provide one-on-one pediatric nursing care in patients’ homes. Nurses care for one patient at a time, typically on consistent schedules with long-term cases, and work close to home while building relationships with patients and families. The role offers flexible scheduling, full-time and part-time opportunities, paid training, ongoing clinical support, and a supportive clinical team. Pay is competitive based on experience, with weekly pay and premium hourly pay for specified overnight and weekend shifts.
Requirements
- Active Missouri RN or LPN license, or a Compact license.
- Strong assessment and communication skills.
- Compassionate, dependable, and self-motivated.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, one-on-one nursing care in patients’ homes.
- Administer and manage medications.
- Monitor and document patient conditions.
- Perform treatments as ordered by the physician.
- Educate, encourage, and support family members.
- Work alongside the Phoenix clinical team to provide exceptional care.
