RN/LPN Pediatric Home Care
About The Position
Home Heart Florida is looking for a compassionate nurse to provide one-on-one care for a pediatric patient in the home. We thoughtfully match nurses with families based on clinical experience, personality, location, and schedule. This role offers the opportunity for one-on-one care, allowing you to focus on one patient and build a meaningful relationship with the family. You will be supported by a supportive, nurse-led clinical team available for assistance. The onboarding process is designed to be simple and efficient, getting qualified nurses ready for their case quickly. Consistent scheduling is available, depending on the patient's needs, which may include days, nights, weekends, or overnight care. Additionally, there is an opportunity for RNs with 1 year of Pediatric and Home Care Experience to provide RN education to a family for an increased rate.
Requirements
- Active Florida RN or LPN license
- BLS certification
- Experience with oxygen overnight, history of seizures, feeding, respiratory care, and other case-specific care as applicable
- Dependable, communicative, and comfortable working independently in the home
- Reliable transportation
- 1 year of Pediatric Experience
- 1 year of Home Care Experience

Responsibilities
- Provide skilled nursing care according to the patient's plan of care
- Administer medications and treatments
- Monitor and document changes in patient condition
- Provide feeding, respiratory, and other case-specific care as applicable
