About The Position
Phoenix Home Care & Hospice is hiring LPNs and RNs for private duty nursing in Joplin and surrounding communities. This role offers 1:1 patient care, providing a different nursing experience compared to the hospital setting. The position focuses on caring for one patient and their family, offering consistent cases and schedules, weekly pay, and opportunities for supplemental income on weekends and overnights. Pediatric experience is a plus, but training will be provided for the private duty nursing aspect.
Requirements
- Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN)
- Ability to work weekends or overnights
- Willingness to work with a flexible schedule
- Must be able to provide consistent supplemental income
Nice To Haves
- Pediatric experience is a plus
- Experience in private duty nursing
Responsibilities
- Provide 1:1 patient care in a home setting.
- Offer meaningful care to one patient and their family.
- Work consistent cases and schedules.
- Take advantage of overnight and weekend opportunities.
- Provide care in Joplin and surrounding communities, including Webb City, Carl Junction, Carthage, Neosho, Pittsburg, KS, and nearby areas.
