About The Position

Phoenix Home Care & Hospice is hiring LPNs and RNs for private duty nursing in Joplin and surrounding communities. This role offers a different way to practice nursing, focusing on 1:1 patient care with children and young adults, away from the hospital environment. The position provides consistent cases and schedules, weekly pay, and opportunities for supplemental income by working around existing hospital jobs. Premium pay is offered for weekday overnights, weekend days, and weekend overnights.

Requirements

• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN).
• Ability to work 14-hour shifts.
• Willingness to work around existing hospital schedules.
• Must be able to work weekdays, weekends, or overnights.
• Must be able to work in Joplin and surrounding communities, including Webb City, Carl Junction, Carthage, Neosho, Pittsburg, KS, and nearby areas.

Nice To Haves

• Pediatric experience is a plus.
• Experience with the PDN (Private Duty Nursing) side of nursing.
