About The Position

Castor Home Health Solutions is hiring an LPN to provide one-to-one nursing care for a child during the school day in Andover, Illinois. The nurse attends school with the patient and supports the child’s safe participation in the school day while providing skilled nursing care. This is a consistent, long-term case involving G-tube care; tracheostomy and ventilator care are not required. Paid hands-on training and 24/7 clinical support are provided. New graduates and applicants without private duty nursing experience are encouraged to apply. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 6:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with no nights or weekends. The posting lists LPN pay starting at $32 per hour.

Requirements

Active Illinois LPN license.
CPR certification or willingness to obtain it.
Dependable and compassionate approach to care.
Interest in working one-on-one with a pediatric patient.

Nice To Haves

Previous private duty nursing experience is not required; new graduates are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

Administer medications and treatments.
Monitor the patient's condition throughout the school day.
Communicate with the patient's family, school staff, and Castor's clinical team.
Complete required nursing documentation.
