LPN Outpatient Addiction Services
About The Position
Join Lee Health’s Addiction Services team as an LPN, supporting individuals on their journey to recovery through compassionate, patient-centered care and meaningful connections. Under the guidance and discretion of a registered nurse, perform and document selected tasks, including administering treatments and medications. Assist the registered nurse in collecting health data according to established policies. Collaborate with other professional disciplines to support effective patient care and desired outcomes. Support the organization’s vision and mission, and incorporate patients’ ages and cultural diversity into care. Contribute to quality nursing care through excellent customer service and performance improvement practices that demonstrate positive patient outcomes.
Requirements
- Graduate of a state-approved vocational/practical nursing program.
- Currently licensed as an LPN in the State of Florida.
- Proof of American Heart Association Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support (BLS), current for a minimum of 90 days after the hire date.
- Communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic computer skills.
- Customer service skills.
- Successfully complete the competency assessment.
