About The Position

AdvisaCare is seeking Registered Nurses in Lansing, Michigan, and surrounding areas to provide one-on-one skilled nursing care in patients’ homes and other settings. The role focuses on building close relationships with patients, providing individualized care, and helping transition patients safely from a hospital or facility to their home while supporting their quality of life. AdvisaCare provides skilled, private duty, and hospice care to a diverse patient population. Per-diem, part-time, and full-time opportunities are available, with flexible scheduling. Nurses may work independently and as part of a team while delivering professional, compassionate care in accordance with AdvisaCare’s standards and safety practices.

Requirements

Current Michigan nursing license.
Proven nursing experience.
Familiarity with professional and technical emerging knowledge.
Problem-solving skills and ability to multitask.
Reliable transportation.
Valid driver’s license.
Ability to work responsibly in a team and independently.
Compassionate, with good communication skills.
Ability to travel within the service area.
CPR certification.
Ability to pass a drug screen and clear a background check.

Responsibilities

Manage records, complete necessary paperwork, and perform patient assessments.
Work independently.
Participate in training and in transitioning patients from a facility to a home setting.
Comply with all policies and standards for safety and infection control.
Perform duties in a courteous, customer-focused manner in accordance with AdvisaCare’s standards of practice.
