About The Position
Juniper Village at the Spearly Center is a 130-bed skilled nursing facility specializing in behavioral and mental health. The LPN provides basic nursing care to residents in a senior living setting, supporting their health and daily living needs while contributing to a home-like environment. The position involves medication administration, monitoring residents, providing basic medical care, and coordinating with residents, families, medical professionals, and a multidisciplinary team. Full-time and part-time schedules are available. The full-time schedule is 6 a.m.–6 p.m. Part-time schedules are 6 a.m.–2 p.m. Thursday through Sunday or 6 p.m.–11 p.m. Friday through Monday. Starting pay is $36.00 per hour, with higher rates available for experienced nurses. A $2,500 sign-on bonus is offered to full-time LPNs hired between October 22, 2026, and November 15, 2026. Requirements
- Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) credential.
- BLS Certification.
- Familiarity with hospital health, safety, and sanitation standards and procedures.
- Excellent knowledge of medical and hospital terminology.
Responsibilities
- Assist with medication administration and documentation for residents in a senior living setting.
- Observe residents under treatment to identify progress and medication side effects.
- Monitor and record vital signs.
- Assist residents with activities of daily living as necessary.
- Administer prescribed medications and injections, provide wound care, and perform other basic medical care tasks.
- Collect lab samples.
- Communicate with team members, residents, families, and medical professionals.
- Work as a member of a multidisciplinary team.
