About The Position

Juniper Communities is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse to support resident health and wellness in a senior living community. The role manages day-to-day health and wellness operations to promote residents’ function, safety, and wellbeing. It includes medication administration and documentation, monitoring residents, providing basic medical care, communicating with residents, families, and medical professionals, and contributing to a multidisciplinary team. Full-time overnight and part-time shifts are available. Starting pay is $30.00 per hour, with higher rates for experienced nurses, bonus opportunities, and a $1 shift differential for evening and overnight shifts. Requirements

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) qualification required.
Familiarity with hospital health, safety, and sanitation standards and procedures.
Excellent knowledge of medical and hospital terminology.
Perfect physical condition and stamina.

Nice To Haves

Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) qualification preferred but not required.
BLS Certification preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Manage day-to-day operations of the community’s health and wellness component to support residents’ function, safety, and wellbeing.
Assist with medication administration and documentation for residents in a senior living setting.
Observe residents under treatment to identify progress and medication side effects.
Monitor and record vital signs.
Provide assistance with activities of daily living as necessary.
Administer prescribed medications and injections, provide wound care, and perform other basic medical care tasks.
Collect lab samples.
Communicate with team members, residents, families, and medical professionals.
Work as a member of a multidisciplinary team.
