LPN - Infant Home Care Nurse
About The Position
BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for its South Jersey Skilled Nursing team to care for high-acuity infant clients in their homes. Clients may be tracheostomy- and ventilator-dependent or need NG tube feedings and oxygen. The role offers opportunities to develop hospital-level, high-acuity skills and learn to care for clients with rare and complex diseases. Paid training prepares nurses for the home-care setting, with a focus on building confidence and knowledge. Care is provided one-on-one, with flexible scheduling and around-the-clock clinical phone support. Shifts are available in 8-, 10-, or 12-hour lengths, on first, second, or third shift. Part-time and full-time schedules are available, including as little as one shift per week.
Requirements
- Current, valid nursing license.
- Graduation from a qualified nursing program.
- CPR certification in good standing.
Responsibilities
- Provide one-on-one home nursing care to high-acuity infant clients.
- Care for clients who may require tracheostomy and ventilator management.
- Provide care for an infant client requiring NG tube feedings and oxygen.
- Document care using the Statewise electronic charting system.
