About The Position

BAYADA’s Upstate Skilled Office is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) with a passion for home care to join its Skilled Private Duty Nursing team. The role provides one-to-one care to a client in the client’s home, with schedules matched to the nurse’s preferences. Nurses receive paid orientation that includes virtual and hands-on training, onboarding support, and ongoing learning opportunities. The office also holds nurse appreciation events throughout the year. The nurse follows and carries out doctors’ orders, performs assessments, monitors client conditions, and documents observations, interventions, and evaluations. Requirements

Graduation from an accredited and approved nursing program, as indicated by a school transcript or diploma.
A current nursing license in good standing in the state.

Responsibilities

Travel to one client’s home near you on a schedule you choose, matched to a client.
Follow up on, carry out, and properly document doctors’ orders.
Perform assessments and monitor clients’ conditions.
Document observations, interventions, and evaluations.
