About The Position

BAYADA’s Upstate Skilled Office is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) with a passion for home care to join its Skilled Private Duty Nursing team. The role provides compassionate, reliable, high-quality care to clients and their families in a one-to-one home-care setting. Nurses travel to one nearby client home on a schedule they choose and are matched with. BAYADA offers onboarding and training beginning on Day 1, including paid virtual and hands-on orientation, and holds nurse appreciation events throughout the year. The position pays $26–$28 per hour. Benefits vary according to employment type.

Requirements

Graduate from an accredited and approved nursing program, as indicated by a school transcript or diploma.
Hold a current nursing license in good standing in the state.

Responsibilities

Travel to one client’s home nearby, according to a chosen schedule and client match.
Follow up on, carry out, and properly document doctors’ orders.
Perform assessments and monitor clients’ conditions.
Document observations, interventions, and evaluations.
