About The Position

BAYADA’s Laurel Highlands Offices are seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) with a passion for pediatric or adult care to join the Skilled Nursing team. The role provides compassionate, excellent, and reliable private-duty nursing to one client at a time in the client’s home. Nurses work traditional shifts of 4, 8, 10, or 12 hours and can choose a flexible schedule. The office provides onboarding, paid orientation, and support on the first day in the client’s home.

The nurse travels to one nearby client home on a chosen schedule, follows and documents doctors’ orders, performs assessments, monitors the client’s condition, and documents observations, interventions, and evaluations. The position offers autonomy in providing hands-on care and the opportunity to build client relationships and observe milestones.

Pay is up to $23–$33 per hour based on qualifications, shift preference, and complexity of care. Scheduling options include full-time, part-time, and per diem, with no minimums. Hiring needs include full-time day and evening shifts and part-time night and weekend hours.

Requirements

• Graduate from an accredited and approved nursing program, as evidenced by a school transcript or diploma.
• Hold a current nursing license in good standing in the state.

Responsibilities

• Travel to one client’s home near the nurse on a chosen schedule.
