LPN - Home Care Nurse
About The Position
BAYADA Pediatric and Adult Nursing Offices are seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) with an interest in infant, pediatric, or adult care to join the Skilled Nursing team. The role provides private-duty, one-to-one care to a single client in the client's home, with traditional shifts and opportunities to build relationships and observe client milestones. Multiple day, evening, and overnight shift options are available for clients in the Quakertown, East Greenville, Pennsburg, Perkasie, Hatfield, and Lansdale areas. Nurses choose a schedule that works for them, and there are no weekend requirements. BAYADA provides onboarding and training from the first day, with ongoing support and regular check-ins from Clinical Managers and office staff. The role offers clinical advancement opportunities, scholarship opportunities, free courses, on-the-job training, and a nurse referral bonus program.
Requirements
- Graduate from an accredited and approved nursing program, as indicated by a school transcript or diploma.
- Hold a current nursing license in good standing in the state.
Responsibilities
- Travel to one nearby client according to a chosen schedule.
- Follow up on, carry out, and properly document doctors' orders.
- Perform assessments and monitor clients' conditions.
- Document observations, interventions, and evaluations.
- Report changes in a client's condition to the Clinical Manager and physician.
- Perform nursing skills autonomously in the home.
