About The Position

The Lounge Manager supervises the food service operation and ensures standards of excellence are met. The role supervises associates and supports financial responsibilities. The position also manages lounge operations and plans, markets, and executes special events and promotions. Qualified candidates must be able to perform the essential functions satisfactorily, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree.
At least 1–3 years of relevant experience.
Experience in restaurants, hotels, corporate dining, education, military, health care, and/or related food service operations.
Operational knowledge of cash handling procedures and food service equipment.
Proficient computer skills and knowledge of MS Office products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook, and the internet.

Nice To Haves

ServSafe or Department of Health Certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

Hire, supervise, train, and coach associates.
Plan, market, and execute special events and promotions in the lounge.
Ensure compliance with proper sanitation and cleaning standards.
Operate within the budget and identify new ways to improve the business.
Manage lounge operations.
Perform other duties as assigned.
