About The Position

This position is responsible for taking orders and serving assigned lounge venue areas to ensure beverage service is provided to guests in a timely manner. The role involves serving beverages and amenities, taking food orders and following up on their delivery, handling cash and credit transactions, and providing professional, exceptional customer service. The server maintains thorough knowledge of the food and beverage menu and product offerings and follows responsible alcohol service standards, including slowing down or cutting off intoxicated guests when necessary.

Requirements

Ability to read and speak English and communicate effectively with guests, team members, and management in written and verbal form.
Ability to multitask.
Ability to work any day of the week and any shift, including weekends and holidays.
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with team members, management, and guests.
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Must be able to obtain required work cards.
High school diploma or GED required.
Must complete property academy as assigned.
Ability to kneel, carry, bend, walk, and stand for extended periods.
Ability to lift 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

Practice, support, and promote Company Service Standards at all times.
Work effectively with venue staff, other servers, bartenders, barbacks, beverage managers, and slots supervisors.
Follow responsible alcohol service standards and slow down or cut off intoxicated guests when necessary.
Take orders and serve beverages and amenities in lounge areas.
Take food orders and follow up on their delivery to guests.
Handle cash and credit transactions.
Interact with guests professionally and consistently deliver exceptional customer service.
Maintain thorough knowledge of food and beverage menu and product offerings.
Respond promptly to emergencies and incidents within designated areas according to policy.
Comply with company, departmental, and Gaming Control Board rules, regulations, policies, and procedures.
