About The Position
At the Holiday Inn Sioux Falls – City Centre, we're looking for an experienced Lounge & Restaurant Manager who has a passion for hospitality, a strong understanding of restaurant and bar operations, and the drive to help us grow. Requirements
- Previous restaurant, lounge, or bar leadership experience required.
- Strong understanding of both restaurant service and beverage operations.
- Experience with revenue generation, suggestive selling, and cost control.
- A creative, motivated individual who enjoys bringing new ideas forward.
- A hands-on leader who knows how to coach, motivate, and hold employees accountable.
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- A genuine passion for hospitality and creating memorable guest experiences.
- Someone who takes initiative, follows through, and takes pride in their results.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays based on business needs.
Responsibilities
- Create experiences guests want to come back for.
- Lead exceptional restaurant and lounge service, build relationships with guests, and help create an atmosphere that makes people feel welcomed and appreciated.
- Bring fresh ideas and drive revenue growth.
- Identify opportunities to increase restaurant and lounge traffic, grow food and beverage sales, develop promotions, and create events that attract both hotel guests and the local community.
- Build a team people want to be part of.
- Lead, coach, train, and develop restaurant servers, bartenders, and support staff. Create a culture of teamwork, accountability, and genuine hospitality.
- Lead from the floor, not behind a desk.
- Be present during service, support your employees, engage with guests, and set the example for what exceptional hospitality looks like.
- Take ownership of the operation.
- Oversee daily restaurant and lounge operations, including staffing, scheduling, inventory, labor management, cost control, service standards, and financial performance.
- Turn opportunities into results.
- Use your experience and business knowledge to identify areas for improvement, increase sales, strengthen guest satisfaction, and contribute to the overall success of both outlets.
