Lot Driver - Fort Wayne Airport
About The Position
Enterprise Mobility is hiring a part-time Lot Driver at Fort Wayne Airport in Fort Wayne, Indiana. The position pays $14 per hour and involves moving and positioning rental vehicles between designated locations for servicing, transport, and rental. The driver helps ensure vehicles are ready for customers in accordance with the company’s quality standards. This is a local, non-CDL driving position that provides the opportunity to drive multiple new-model cars. Schedules listed include Monday and Tuesday from 2:30 p.m. to 12:00 a.m.; Wednesday from 3:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m.; Thursday and Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.; and Saturday from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Enterprise Mobility operates the Enterprise Rent-A-Car, National Car Rental, and Alamo Rent A Car brands, along with other mobility and transportation services. It is privately held by the Taylor family of St. Louis and, together with Enterprise Fleet Management, manages a fleet of 2.4 million vehicles through more than 9,500 staffed neighborhood and airport rental locations in over 90 countries and territories.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Must have a valid driver's license with no more than two moving violations and/or at-fault accidents on the driving record in the past two years.
- Must have no drug- or alcohol-related conviction on the driving record in the past five years.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship from the company now or in the future.
Responsibilities
- Transport and shuttle rental vehicles around and between National/Alamo and Enterprise locations.
- Drive returned vehicles from the return location to the cleaning or servicing location.
- Drive serviced vehicles from the cleaning location to the ready line and park them for customer access.
- Move vehicles to different areas of the lot or facility as directed by management.
- Deliver vehicles to other Enterprise locations off airport property as directed by management.
- Ride with or follow drivers to drop off or pick up vehicles.
- Communicate via two-way radio or cellular phone as needed.
- Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
