About The Position

The Logistics Security Officer helps maintain a safe and secure environment at a client site by actively monitoring and patrolling premises, observing and reporting activities and incidents, and helping protect client property and personnel. The role preserves order by enforcing site-related regulations and directives for personnel and visitors. Officers may also provide customer service and information to client employees and customers. No security experience is necessary. Securitas provides training for an introduction to a career in the security industry. Applicants with retail, food service, or hospitality backgrounds may be a good fit. Candidates must pass a drug screen and background check and be able to meet and continue meeting applicable state, county, and municipal licensing requirements for Security Officers/Guards.

Requirements

Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Teams, and Excel.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
Excellent customer service skills.
Pass a drug screen and background check.
Meet and continue to meet applicable state, county, and municipal licensing requirements for Security Officers/Guards.

Nice To Haves

Bill of Lading (BOL) experience is preferred.
Retail, food service, or hospitality industry background is considered a good fit.
