About The Position

This role involves coordinating overall FTL transportation operations, developing and maintaining strong relationships with carriers, customers, and logistics partners, and negotiating freight rates to maximize profitability while maintaining service quality. The specialist will monitor shipments, resolve service issues, and collaborate with internal departments to support daily business activities. Additionally, the role includes providing guidance and feedback to team members, assisting with process improvement initiatives, and supporting administrative tasks and reporting.

Requirements

  • Bilingual proficiency in Korean and English is preferred, as the role involves frequent communication with Korean-speaking clients and partners in both the U.S. and Korea

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate overall FTL transportation operations to ensure efficient and on-time service
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with carriers, customers, and logistics partners
  • Negotiate freight rates while maximizing profitability and maintaining service quality
  • Monitor shipments and resolve service issues, delays, claims, and operational challenges in a timely manner
  • Collaborate with internal departments including operations, dispatch, customer service, and accounting to support daily business activities
  • Provide guidance, support, and timely performance feedback to team members
  • Assist with process improvement initiatives and special projects as assigned
  • Support administrative tasks and reporting requested by management
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned
