About The Position

Spang Power Electronics, a division of Spang & Company, is hiring a Logistics & Inventory Specialist based in Sandy Lake, Pennsylvania. The role is responsible for creating and managing customer and intra-company shop order schedules, scheduling customer shipments—including export and import duties—and handling related accounting activities. Spang Power Electronics provides power solutions and proprietary technology for critical industries, designing and manufacturing systems and products for industrial control applications worldwide. Its products include SCR Power Controllers, custom transformers, and AC/DC Power Systems. The company is headquartered in Mentor, Ohio, with additional sites in Sandy Lake, Pennsylvania, and Xiamen, China. The position includes order creation and processing, domestic and international shipping coordination, freight and customs administration, inventory management, accounting tasks, and support for ERP updates and procedures.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Business, Math, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
Strong communication, organizational, decision-making, and multitasking skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Access.

Nice To Haves

Specialization in Production Control or Supply Chain Management.
ERP experience.
Experience with Crystal Reports.
Experience with demand planning software.

Responsibilities

Create intra-company purchase and sales orders.
Process international order transactions and invoices.
Coordinate domestic and international shipments.
Manage freight invoices, rates, and carrier relationships.
Work with customs brokers.
Prepare U.S. export documentation and maintain import compliance procedures.
Generate ERP reports.
Maintain international inventory through cycle counts.
Process intercompany invoices.
Review freight and customs charges and assign general ledger accounts.
Assist with ERP updates and procedures.
Create and manage customer and intra-company shop order schedules.
Schedule customer order shipments, including export and import duties, and complete related accounting activities.
