About The Position

Pet Krewe is seeking a hands-on Senior Inventory & Logistics Specialist to own day-to-day execution and control of inventory across its network. The role connects inbound supply, warehouse inventory, replenishment, logistics, and customer demand, working with warehouse and logistics partners to ensure inventory is accurately received, positioned, transferred, and available where needed while resolving exceptions before they affect customers. This is a high-ownership individual-contributor role. The specialist independently investigates operational issues, validates information across systems and physical operations, makes routine decisions within established guidelines, and drives actions through completion. The role reports to the Director of Operations and works closely with the Operations Coordinator, systems team, production partners, 3PLs, freight providers, and other internal teams. The specialist owns inventory control and logistics execution, including inventory accuracy, routine replenishment and transfers, inbound shipment follow-through, warehouse and 3PL execution, inventory risk and order coverage, cost improvement, systems and process improvement, and logistics execution for new products and special projects. Pet Krewe uses technology, automation, and data-driven tools to improve operational visibility and decision-making; the role requires using these tools while applying operational judgment to validate information, resolve exceptions, and take action. The position is intended for someone with a strong inventory or logistics foundation who wants meaningful ownership and the opportunity to develop broader supply-chain responsibility as Pet Krewe grows. The role is remote in the United States and full-time. Anticipated base salary is $68,000–$80,000, with final compensation based on experience, skills, geographic location, and qualifications. Pet Krewe offers medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k), company-provided equipment where applicable, remote work flexibility based on role needs, and unlimited PTO for salaried employees.

Responsibilities

  • Identify data-quality, workflow, and integration issues; partner with the Director of Operations and systems team to improve reporting, automation, and workflows, and help define business rules and controls.
  • Maintain clear SOPs for inventory, inbound logistics, replenishment, transfers, and exception management, while reducing unnecessary manual work without weakening controls.
  • Own logistics execution for new products, retailer programs, promotions, endcaps, and other special projects; coordinate inventory positioning, receiving, transfers, and warehouse requirements.
  • Support operational readiness for new customers and channels, warehouse transitions, and broader supply-chain initiatives led by the Director of Operations.
