About The Position

The Logistics Coordinator supports daily freight brokerage operations in collaboration with Transportation Brokers. The role involves managing active loads, using digital tools and the company’s proprietary transportation management system (TMS), and helping ensure freight moves smoothly through the supply chain. The company provides training on its proprietary TMS. The coordinator builds loads, arranges pickup and delivery appointments, sets up carriers, tracks shipments, communicates updates, and supports carrier sourcing and relationships. The position also maintains compliance documentation, assists with branch accounting tasks, and provides high-touch customer support.

Requirements

Strong practical command of Google Workspace, including Gmail, Docs, Sheets, Drive, and Calendar.
Strong attention to detail when managing load data, compliance records, and financial documents.
Self-motivated, enthusiastic team player who can thrive under pressure in a dynamic environment.
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills and a customer-first mindset.
Comfort with technology and digital tools.

Responsibilities

Build loads, schedule pickup and delivery appointments, and set up vetted carriers in digital platforms.
Conduct carrier update and check calls, track active shipments, and provide timely updates to shippers and customers.
Contact carriers about lane availability, equipment types, and capacity, and build strong carrier relationships.
Request and verify insurance certificates, handle rate confirmations, and keep carrier resources updated.
Support branch accounting by matching invoices and issuing Com-checks or Quick Pays.
Use digital tools to support daily office workflows.
Provide customer support in accordance with the company’s Customer, Company, and Office principles.
