About The Position

viaPhoton is hiring a Logistics Coordinator to oversee shipping and receiving operations that keep fiber optic products moving to customers on time. The role supports day-to-day warehouse operations, coordinates shipment priorities with production teams, arranges transportation with freight carriers and logistics providers, and maintains accurate shipping documentation. It also oversees receiving raw materials, components, and finished goods, completes ERP transactions and reconciliations, and monitors inbound and outbound delivery quality metrics. The position is based in Naperville, Illinois, and is scheduled Monday through Friday on first shift, from 7:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Compensation is $19.00–$21.00 per hour, plus a $2,000 prepaid card for medical expenses, prorated based on the start date.

Requirements

Proven experience in shipping and receiving; manufacturing experience is preferred.
Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Knowledge of shipping regulations, customs procedures, and supply chain logistics.
Careful attention to detail and a focus on accuracy and efficiency.
Ability to safely operate a pallet jack, sit-down forklift, and stand-up forklift.
Ability to follow safety policies and procedures closely.

Responsibilities

Support daily warehouse operations, including stock moves and accurate inventory management.
Coordinate with production teams to prioritize shipments according to customer requirements and production schedules.
Work with freight carriers and logistics providers to arrange transportation and maintain accurate shipping documentation.
Prepare documentation for all shipments, including packing lists, shipping labels, RMA documentation, and customs declarations.
Oversee receiving of raw materials, components, and finished goods.
Complete ERP transactions and reconciliations.
Monitor quality metrics for inbound and outbound deliveries.
Follow safety policies and procedures.
