Requirements

  • Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
  • Board certification or eligibility in Radiology
  • Valid, unrestricted medical license in the relevant jurisdiction
  • Prior experience in radiology, with tele-radiology experience preferred
  • Strong diagnostic interpretation skills across multiple imaging modalities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for reporting and consultation
  • Ability to work flexible hours including weekends or on-call coverage as needed
  • Proficiency with radiology information systems (RIS) and picture archiving systems (PACS)
  • Commitment to high standards of patient safety and clinical quality
  • Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively in a team-based environment
  • CSR and DEA required

Responsibilities

  • Interpret and report on diagnostic imaging studies including X-rays, CT scans, MRIs, and ultrasounds
  • Communicate radiological findings clearly and promptly to referring physicians
  • Ensure accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of all radiology reports
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary medical teams to support patient diagnosis and treatment planning
  • Maintain strict patient confidentiality and adhere to all HIPAA regulations
  • Follow established protocols, guidelines, and quality standards in radiology practice
  • Participate in clinical meetings, case conferences, and peer reviews
  • Stay current with advances in radiology imaging technology and best practices
  • Document patient interactions and imaging findings accurately in electronic medical records
  • Provide on-site coverage and support to ensure continuity of radiology services
