About The Position

Requirements

  • Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution
  • Board certification or board eligibility in Radiology
  • Valid medical license to practice in the relevant jurisdiction
  • Completion of an accredited residency program in Radiology
  • Experience in diagnostic radiology, including proficiency in interpreting multiple imaging modalities
  • Strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with patients, families, and medical teams
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Commitment to maintaining high standards of patient care and safety
  • Must be board-certified

Nice To Haves

  • Fellowship training in a radiology subspecialty is preferred but not required

Responsibilities

  • Interpret and report on X-rays, CT scans, MRIs, ultrasounds, and other diagnostic imaging studies
  • Provide accurate and timely radiological diagnoses to support clinical decision-making
  • Collaborate with referring physicians and specialists to discuss imaging findings and recommend appropriate follow-up
  • Perform image-guided procedures such as biopsies, aspirations, and drain placements when required
  • Ensure compliance with clinical protocols, safety standards, and regulatory requirements in radiology
  • Maintain detailed and accurate patient records, including radiology reports and documentation
  • Consult with patients to explain procedures, address concerns, and obtain informed consent when applicable
  • Stay current with advancements in radiology technology, imaging techniques, and best practices
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and case discussions to contribute clinical expertise
  • Assist in quality assurance initiatives to ensure the accuracy and reliability of imaging services
