About The Position

This contract-based, on-site position offers a unique opportunity for an Associate-level physician to provide high-quality diagnostic imaging services in a dynamic and patient-centered environment. As a Locum Radiologist, you will play a vital role in supporting our team and ensuring timely, accurate interpretations for patients and referring clinicians alike. In this role, you will work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, delivering precise radiological assessments across a range of imaging modalities. Your expertise will directly contribute to the quality of care we provide, supporting both routine and urgent clinical needs. Requirements

  • Medical degree (MD or MBBS) from a recognized and accredited institution.
  • Valid and active medical license to practice as a Medical Doctor in the relevant jurisdiction.
  • Specialization in Radiology with completed residency training in an accredited program.
  • Minimum of 2–3 years of clinical experience in diagnostic radiology at an Associate level.
  • Proficiency in interpreting a broad range of imaging modalities, including CT, MRI, ultrasound, and conventional radiography.
  • Strong analytical and diagnostic skills with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective reporting and interdisciplinary collaboration.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while functioning effectively within a team.
  • Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems and radiology information systems (RIS/PACS).
  • Demonstrated commitment to patient safety, ethical practice, and continuous professional development.

Nice To Haves

  • Board certification or equivalent qualification in Radiology is strongly preferred.
  • Must be board-certified
  • All IR procedures required

Responsibilities

  • Interpret and report on diagnostic imaging studies, including X-ray, CT, MRI, and ultrasound examinations.
  • Provide accurate and timely preliminary and final radiological reports to support clinical decision-making.
  • Consult with referring physicians to discuss imaging findings and recommend appropriate follow-up procedures.
  • Ensure all imaging interpretations adhere to established medical standards, protocols, and safety guidelines.
  • Document findings in the electronic medical record system with clarity and precision.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to contribute radiological expertise to patient care planning.
  • Maintain patient confidentiality and uphold ethical standards in all professional interactions.
  • Collaborate with radiologic technologists to ensure optimal image quality and technical accuracy.
  • Stay current with advancements in radiology practices, imaging technologies, and relevant regulatory requirements.
  • Manage workload efficiently in a high-paced clinical environment while prioritizing urgent cases appropriately.
  • Contribute to quality assurance and quality improvement initiatives within the radiology department.
