About The Position

This on-site position offers a unique opportunity to provide high-quality diagnostic imaging services within a dynamic Medical Practice environment. In this role, you will be responsible for interpreting medical images, diagnosing conditions, and collaborating with referring physicians to ensure accurate and timely patient care. You will work alongside a team of dedicated healthcare professionals who prioritize patient outcomes and clinical excellence. This position is ideal for an Associate-level physician looking to expand their experience in radiology while contributing to a supportive and fast-paced medical practice.

Requirements

  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution
  • Board certification or active board eligibility in Radiology
  • Active and unrestricted medical license in the state of Washington (or ability to obtain licensure promptly)
  • Completed residency training in Diagnostic Radiology
  • Proficiency in interpreting a wide range of diagnostic imaging modalities
  • Strong diagnostic reasoning and clinical decision-making skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective collaboration with referring clinicians
  • Ability to work independently and manage a high volume of cases efficiently
  • Attention to detail and a strong commitment to patient safety and quality care
  • Valid DEA registration and liability coverage, or ability to obtain them

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in a locum tenens or contract physician role is preferred but not required
  • Fellowship training in a subspecialty of radiology is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Interpret and report on X-rays, CT scans, MRIs, ultrasounds, and other diagnostic imaging studies
  • Provide accurate and timely diagnoses to support patient treatment decisions
  • Consult with referring physicians and other healthcare providers on complex cases
  • Perform image-guided procedures when required, such as biopsies or drainages
  • Document findings clearly and thoroughly in accordance with medical standards
  • Review patient histories and prior imaging to ensure comprehensive evaluations
  • Communicate results and recommendations to patients and their care teams
  • Maintain compliance with all clinical protocols, safety standards, and regulatory requirements
  • Participate in quality assurance and radiology peer-review activities
  • Collaborate with radiologic technologists and support staff to optimize imaging workflow
  • Provide on-call coverage and support for urgent or emergency imaging needs, as required
