About The Position
This contract, on-site position offers an excellent opportunity for an Associate-level physician to provide high-quality urological care within the Medical Practice industry. As a Locum Urology physician, you will be responsible for diagnosing and treating patients with urological conditions, performing procedures, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care. You will play a key role in maintaining continuity of care during staffing gaps, bringing your expertise to a supportive and patient-centered practice environment.
Requirements
- Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution
- Board certification or eligibility in Urology
- Valid unrestricted medical license to practice in the state of New York
- Associate-level experience in urology or a related medical field
- Proficiency in diagnosing and managing a wide range of urological conditions
- Strong surgical skills and experience with urological procedures
- Excellent patient communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a healthcare team
- Commitment to maintaining high standards of patient care and safety
- Willingness to adhere to facility protocols and comply with all regulatory requirements
- Must be board-certified or board-eligible

Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive urological consultations, evaluations, and diagnoses for patients
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs
- Perform urological procedures and surgeries in accordance with best practices
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, including lab work and imaging studies
- Prescribe medications and manage ongoing patient care
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and support staff to coordinate patient care
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical documentation and patient records
- Educate patients and their families on treatment options, procedures, and preventive care
- Ensure compliance with all medical regulations, safety standards, and practice protocols
- Provide locum coverage as scheduled, ensuring seamless patient care during provider absences
