About The Position

Requirements
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited medical school
- Board certification or eligibility in Urology
- Valid and unrestricted medical license to practice
- Associate-level experience in urology or a related field
- Strong diagnostic and clinical decision-making skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
- Commitment to providing compassionate, patient-centered care
- Ability to work on-site in Muncie and adhere to a contract schedule
- BLS certification

- Experience with Cerner and Epic EMR systems
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and treat a variety of urological conditions, including urinary tract infections, kidney stones, and prostate disorders
- Perform urological examinations, procedures, and minor surgical interventions as needed
- Interpret diagnostic tests such as urinalysis, imaging studies, and urodynamic evaluations
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients
- Collaborate with primary care physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient medical records
- Provide patient education on urological health, preventive care, and treatment options
- Participate in on-call rotations and respond to urgent urological consultations
- Stay current with the latest advancements and best practices in urology
- Ensure compliance with all medical, ethical, and regulatory standards
