About The Position
This is a contract, on-site position offering a unique opportunity to provide essential psychiatric care within a collaborative and patient-centered clinical environment. As an Associate-level role, it is well suited to a physician who is building a strong foundation in psychiatric practice while delivering high-quality mental health services. In this role, you will diagnose, treat, and manage a diverse range of psychiatric conditions, working closely with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals in the Medical Practice industry. You will contribute directly to improving patient outcomes through comprehensive evaluations, thoughtful treatment planning, and compassionate ongoing care. The position offers a competitive yearly salary in USD, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
Requirements
- MD (Medical Doctor) or DO (Osteopathic Doctor) degree
- Associate-level experience in psychiatry
- Valid medical license to practice in Lebanon
- Board certification or eligibility in Psychiatry
- Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills
- Experience in prescribing and managing psychiatric medications
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
- Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care
- Strong organizational and documentation skills
- Ability to manage crisis situations calmly and effectively
- Commitment to ethical medical practice and continuous learning

Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and diagnostic assessments
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients
- Prescribe and manage psychotropic medications as clinically appropriate
- Provide psychotherapy and supportive counseling services
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment approaches accordingly
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including psychologists, nurses, and social workers
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation and patient records
- Respond to psychiatric crises and provide appropriate intervention
- Educate patients and families about mental health conditions and treatment options
- Adhere to all applicable medical regulations, ethics, and confidentiality standards
- Participate in case reviews and clinical quality improvement initiatives
- Stay current with developments in psychiatric medicine and best practices
