About The Position

Access Healthcare Staffing Solutions is seeking a qualified locum Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to provide safe, high-quality anesthesia care across a range of clinical settings. The role calls for strong clinical skills, sound judgment, and a patient-centered approach, working within a collaborative, well-supported anesthesia care team. The position is in West Illinois and is a long-term locum contract lasting at least six months. Full-time weekly hours are required, with shifts scheduled from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m., 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., or 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Pager call is optional. The position uses a supervision model and Epic EMR. A variety of case types are involved; obstetric capability is preferred but not required. Illinois licensure and credentialing may take close to three months, with a stated credentialing timeframe of 90–120 days.

Requirements

• Current CRNA certification from the National Board on Certification and Re-certification of Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA).
• Valid, unrestricted RN and CRNA licenses in Illinois.
• Strong clinical knowledge and ability to provide anesthesia care to diverse patient populations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required; PALS and other advanced certifications as applicable.
• Minimum of 1–3 years of CRNA experience is preferred; proficiency in various case types is preferred.

Nice To Haves

• Obstetric (OB) capability is preferred but not required.
• Minimum of 1–3 years of CRNA experience and proficiency in various case types are preferred.
