About The Position

Admiral Transport is hiring a CDL A Local Transport Driver for its transportation team in Nampa, Idaho. The role involves safely transporting and delivering beverage products in liquid, loose, or packaged form and supporting the safe and efficient handling, storage, and distribution of products. The driver is expected to provide courteous service, communicate effectively with customers and colleagues, and comply with applicable transportation requirements. The position offers $30.25 per hour or $0.55 per mile (CPM), a retention bonus opportunity, Saturdays off, paid holidays and PTO, and 401(k) and full benefits within 90 days. Employment is conditional on a background check; Admiral Beverage is a drug-free workplace.

Requirements

CDL A holder.
Completion of CDL training: 150 classroom hours and 50 on-the-job driving hours.
Reliability, care, and commitment.
Ability to communicate effectively with customers, clients, and employees.

Nice To Haves

One year of over-the-road commercial driving experience preferred.
High school diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

Safely operate a tractor-trailer combination to transport and deliver products in liquid, loose, or packaged form.
Manage competing priorities.
Communicate effectively in one-on-one and small-group situations with customers, clients, and employees.
Drive safely and courteously to destinations.
Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
Maintain the ELD according to DOT regulations, as required.
Complete the driver portion of bills of lading and other designated forms and documents.
Ensure loads are properly positioned and secured.
Perform other duties assigned by the immediate supervisor or another supervisor.
