About The Position

Responsible for driving and transporting finished goods from a production facility to warehousing facilities. The role transports finished goods or raw materials between facilities and may require loading and unloading goods, connecting or disconnecting trailers, and completing required vehicle inspections and transportation paperwork. The driver is expected to maintain the vehicle, product, and equipment according to company standards. The position is based at the Abilene, Texas warehouse. The scheduled workdays are Saturday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday, with Monday and Sunday off; scheduled hours are 5 AM to 5 PM. Starting pay ranges from $22.60 to $28.45 per hour based on experience. Additional earning opportunities may include performance-based incentives, quarterly bonuses, and referral bonuses, along with comprehensive benefits.

Requirements

Valid Class A CDL and a driving record that meets MVR policy guidelines.
Interstate designation on the CDL is required.
Ability to operate a 2- or 4-wheel dolly.
Ability to operate all types of industrial power trucks.
Familiarity with DOT regulations.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
One to three years of general work experience preferred.
One or more years of commercial driving experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Transport finished goods or raw materials between facilities.
Load and unload goods using a forklift or pallet jacks, or connect or disconnect trailers at the destination.
Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections and verify load and seal numbers.
Maintain DOT time logs, Bills of Lading, and other required paperwork.
Maintain the vehicle, product, and equipment to company standards.
