About The Position

Admiral Transport is seeking a motivated CDL A holder to join its transportation team in Nampa, Idaho. The role supports the safe and efficient handling, storage, and distribution of products by transporting and delivering them in liquid, loose, or packaged form. The position offers hourly pay of $30.25 or $0.55 per mile, eligibility for a retention bonus, Saturdays off, paid holidays and PTO, and 401(k) and other benefits within 90 days. Requirements

• Hold a CDL A.
• Complete CDL training consisting of 150 classroom hours and 50 on-the-job driving hours.
• Be reliable, caring, and committed.
• Pass a background check to begin employment.

Nice To Haves

• One year of over-the-road commercial driving experience preferred.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Safely drive a tractor-trailer combination to transport and deliver products in liquid, loose, or packaged form.
• Manage competing priorities.
• Communicate effectively in one-on-one and small-group situations with customers, clients, and employees.
• Drive safely and courteously to destinations.
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections properly.
• Maintain the ELD according to DOT regulations, as required.
• Complete the driver portion of bills of lading and other designated forms and documents.
• Ensure loads are properly positioned and secured.
• Perform other duties assigned by a supervisor.
