Driver-CO2 CLD-A Tanker/Hazmat
About The Position
POET Pure is hiring a full-time local CO2 tanker/hazmat driver based in Corning, Iowa. The position follows a five-day work week, with a schedule of Monday–Friday, Tuesday–Saturday, or Sunday–Thursday, and drivers are home daily. Additional work may be available. Trucks are parked in Corning. The driver loads CO2 product, transports it to destinations, and unloads it according to customer requirements. The role also includes vehicle inspections, compliance with applicable laws and regulations, and providing quality customer service. POET offers steady year-round work, no forced dispatch, assigned late-model equipment, paid orientation and training, and a family-oriented culture that values flexibility and work-life balance.
Requirements
- At least one year of tractor-trailer driving experience.
- CDL Class A license with Tanker and Hazmat endorsements.
- High level of personal integrity.
- Proven track record of reliability.
- Strong work ethic.
- Great attitude.
- Ability to embrace and promote change.
Responsibilities
- Load CO2 product according to applicable requirements.
- Drive product to its destination and unload it according to customer requirements.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
- Follow all local, state, and federal laws, rules, and regulations.
- Provide quality customer service.
