About The Position

The Local Operations & Warehouse Coordinator supports daily branch and warehouse operations by ensuring accurate inventory management, efficient order fulfillment, timely processing of operational transactions, and exceptional customer service. The role coordinates warehouse activities, inventory control, vendor and customer returns, freight processing, invoicing, and operational reporting while maintaining a safe, organized, and efficient work environment. The coordinator works with customers, vendors, and internal teams to resolve issues, improve processes, and support branch performance and operational excellence.

The role also assists with facility, administrative, and office support activities as needed and performs additional operations, warehouse, and administrative duties as assigned. OTC Industrial Technologies describes opportunities for employee development, training, and career advancement.

Requirements

• Degree or equivalent related experience.
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in Operations or a related position.
• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to multitask.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Effective problem-solving capabilities and ability to perform root cause analysis.
• A can-do attitude and commitment to doing it right the first time.
• Ability to collaborate productively with associates, customers, and vendors.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily warehouse and branch operations to support inventory accuracy, order fulfillment, and customer satisfaction.
• Receive, stock, organize, transfer, pick, pack, and ship inventory and customer orders.
• Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts, audits, reconciliations, and annual physical inventories.
• Review and resolve order exceptions, shipment discrepancies, customer returns, vendor returns, and inventory issues.
• Process invoices, freight claims, credits, corrections, transfers, and month-end order closeouts.
• Support customer pickup orders, vendor relationships, and cross-functional operational needs.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized warehouse environment.
• Assist with facility, administrative, and office support activities as needed.
• Identify process improvements to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and service levels.
• Perform additional operations, warehouse, and administrative duties as assigned.
