About The Position

Linde Gas & Equipment Inc. is hiring a Local Delivery Driver in North Royalton, Ohio. The driver delivers products to customers, typically making 10–12 stops per day, handling freight, completing paperwork, and providing customer service. The role includes recording quantities and product styles delivered and picked up, completing hazardous-material shipping papers in accordance with DOT regulations, and conducting and reporting pre-trip and post-trip inspections. The driver identifies when vehicle repairs or maintenance are needed and builds relationships with internal and external customers to support business goals and customer needs. The position also involves continuously learning how Linde operates and succeeds. This is a first-shift role. Candidates must hold a valid Class A or B CDL and have a hazmat endorsement, or obtain one within 60 days of hire. The job requires the ability to push, pull, move, and lift at least 75 pounds, as well as the ability to pass a DOT physical and obtain a medical certificate. Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Proficiency in reading and writing in English.
Two years of consecutive driving experience or recent certification from a truck driving school.
Valid Class A or B CDL.
At least 21 years of age.
Current hazmat endorsement on the CDL or ability to obtain one within 60 days of hire.
No preventable accidents, license suspensions, or moving violations in the past two years.
No alcohol-related convictions within the last ten years.
Ability to pass a DOT physical and obtain a medical certificate.
Ability to push, pull, move, and lift at least 75 pounds.

Responsibilities

Deliver products to customers, averaging 10–12 stops per day.
Handle freight, complete paperwork, and provide excellent customer service.
Accurately count and record the quantities and styles of products delivered and picked up.
Complete hazardous-material shipping papers in accordance with DOT regulations.
Conduct and report pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
Identify the need for timely vehicle repairs or maintenance.
Build relationships and partnerships with internal and external customers to meet business goals and customer needs.
Continuously build knowledge of how Linde’s business operates and succeeds.
