About The Position

Linde Gas & Equipment Inc. is hiring a Local Delivery Driver in Kilgore, Texas. The driver delivers products to customers, averaging 10–12 stops per day, and handles freight, paperwork, and customer service. The role involves recording delivered and picked-up products, preparing hazardous-material shipping papers in accordance with DOT regulations, and conducting vehicle inspections. Drivers identify maintenance needs and build relationships with internal and external customers to support business and customer goals. The position also involves learning how Linde’s business operates and contributes to its growth.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Proficiency in reading and writing in English.
Two years of consecutive driving experience or recent certification from a truck driving school.
Valid Class A or Class B CDL.
Must be at least 21 years old.
Current hazmat endorsement on CDL, or ability to obtain one within 60 days of hire.
No preventable accidents, license suspensions, or moving violations in the past two years.
No alcohol-related convictions within the last ten years.
Ability to pass a DOT physical and obtain a medical certificate.
Ability to push, pull, move, and lift at least 75 pounds.

Responsibilities

Deliver products to customers, averaging 10–12 stops per day, while handling freight, completing paperwork, and providing excellent customer service.
Accurately count and record the quantities and styles of products delivered and picked up.
Complete hazardous-material shipping papers in accordance with DOT regulations.
Conduct and report pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
Identify the need for timely vehicle repairs or maintenance.
Build relationships and partnerships with internal and external customers to meet business goals and customer needs.
Continuously build knowledge of how Linde’s business operates and succeeds to help the organization grow.
