Local Delivery Driver (CDL A or B)

About The Position

The Local Delivery Driver delivers products to customers, averaging 10–12 stops per day. The role includes handling freight, completing delivery and pickup paperwork, providing excellent customer service, and accurately recording product quantities and styles. The driver completes hazardous-material shipping papers in accordance with DOT regulations, performs and reports pre-trip and post-trip inspections, and identifies when vehicle repairs or maintenance are needed. The position also involves building relationships with internal and external customers and developing knowledge of Linde’s business.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Proficiency in reading and writing in English.
Two years of consecutive driving experience or recent certification from a truck driving school.
Valid Class A or B CDL.
Must be at least 21 years old.
Must have a hazmat endorsement on the CDL or obtain one within 60 days of hire.
No preventable accidents, license suspensions, or moving violations in the past two years.
No alcohol-related convictions within the last ten years.
Ability to pass a DOT physical and obtain a medical certificate.
Ability to push, pull, move, and lift at least 75 pounds.
