About The Position

Drive dedicated local routes from Montgomery, New York, delivering warehouse restocking freight between distribution centers and to customers within 250 miles. Routes cover Delaware, Maryland, New Jersey, New York (with very little Brooklyn or Queens), and Pennsylvania. Loads are packed by the shipper and unloaded by the customer while the driver waits. Freight is 100% no-touch, and routes repeat often. Drivers return home after every shift. The position uses automatic daycabs pulling 53-foot trailers; trucks remain at the account when drivers are off. Passengers and pets are not allowed.

The schedule is Sunday through Thursday, with start times between 6:00 PM and 1:00 AM, plus one or two required sixth days per month. Estimated annual pay is $89,000 to $95,000, with pay rates of $0.69 per mile, $70 per day, $25 per live stop, $20 per hour for safety training, and $200 per day while training. A limited-time $10,000 sign-on bonus is offered.

Requirements

• Valid Class A license.
• At least 3 months of tractor-trailer experience.
• Pass DOT drug and alcohol screening.

Responsibilities

• Drive dedicated local routes for warehouse restocking and customer deliveries within 250 miles of Montgomery, NY.
• Transport freight between distribution centers and deliver to customers across DE, MD, NJ, NY, and PA.
• Wait while customers unload freight.
• Follow the Sunday-through-Thursday schedule and work one or two required sixth days per month.
